Shade Motor Timer - PART 4: Creating/reviewing Timer Events
PLEASE NOTE: These instructions are for our G series motor timers, part number MCGT-1W-RF (1 ch) and MCGT-5W-RF (5 ch).
In part 3 of the blind motor timer instructions we discussed how to assign a motor to the MCGT-1W-RF wireless wall mounted timer, used for timed activation of our radio equipped blind and shade motors using RF (Radio Frequency).
In part 4, we will become familiar with the process of programming timer events that will automatically raise and lower blinds according to your pre-set times.
You can set different OPEN/CLOSE times for every day of the week, or you can make them all the same, and you can omit events on some days; the schedule is entirely up to you.
1. Some Important Things to Know:
- To review settings, cycle through the events without changing anything - press STOP for a quick exit.
- If the event time shows as " --:-- " it means the time is not set.
- During the setup procedure, you have 60 seconds between button presses, before timing out (forcing restart).
- The time interval between an OPEN and CLOSE event cannot be less than 32 minutes (Er01 will be displayed).
2. Setting Events for the Blind Timer Operation
The following picture and instructions demonstrate the procedure for creating events.
