Place the magnet in close proximity to the sensor housing on a closed door or window in your greenhouse or home, and this unit will transmit a signal to your Z-Wave hub if the door or window is opened. This trigger signal can activate other devices and preprogrammed tasks.
It can be used in any situation where you need to determine position, even in situations where one object passes another, when you need to know that has happened.
It has a separate set of screw terminals that can be attached to a relay or microswitch, which will transmit another signal to your Z-Wave hub to indicate that the contact activation took place (opening or closing).
