Multiple remotes
« on: April 18, 2014, 06:18:44 AM »
If I have multiple remotes for the same blind, do each have to paired or do I just select the number after the first one is paired.

IE: Remote controller, Timer and the RFXcom.

I was concerned about each one erasing the previous pairing.

Thanks...Sonny

Hi Sonny, this will not be a problem, our remote control system is very flexible.

Each motor can learn the codes from multiple channels from the same remote or different remotes. The codes are stored in the motor in non-volatile memory.

This means you can group motors onto a single channel, and assign them to their own unique channel, and then replicate that functionality on another remote.

Quite often our customers have a wall mount wireless remote at the room entry, and hand held multi-channel 'floaters' in the room somewhere, on a coffee table or a night table. No problem doing "hers and his" either.

We purposely keep the cost of our remotes down in a reasonable price range, and we like to refer to them as 'affordable luxury'.

If I can be of further assistance, please contact me anytime.

Regards, Adrian

I guess my question is,
If I program a motor for channel 1 on a remote, will all remotes control it on channel 1 or does each remote have to be programmed to the motor?
Not having used the RFXcom, I suppose it has some instructions on doing that also?
Thanks

Hi Sonny, sorry for the late reply. Each remote channel on each remote is individually assigned to a motor; this allows maximum flexibility.

Yes, the instructions for using the RFXCOM transceiver are on the Vera page:
