Title: Use solar charger on multiple motors?
Post by: johank on February 15, 2013, 07:42:58 PM
If I want to use a solar charger with TMDC-12-18-03-25-RMB, do I need one charge per motor, or can multiple motors be hooked to a single charger?

I have two large window banks made of 3 panels that total 10 ft wide and I want to put three individual blinds on each window and use as few chargers as possible.

Hi, you can certainly connect multiple motors in parallel with a single solar panel charger, but each time you do it, you divide the charging capacity between the number of motors. You could start with a single panel, then add more later if you don't get enough time between charges with the AC charger. It will depend a lot on how much sunlight you get on the solar panel.
